| Worship Leader |
|
Jill's worship career began shortly after her conversion at fourteen. Almost immediately, she was leading pre-service "singsongs" for her local Presbyterian church and strumming folk tunes in her Inter School Christian Fellowship meetings. In the following fifteen years, she has led worship in a variety of denominational settings, ranging from Presbyterian to Baptist to Vineyard. The
Toronto Renewal was very timely for Jill, as it broke out when she was
in the midst of family breakdown and was raising her daughter, Hannah,
by herself. In the Renewal, the Lord accelerated Jill's healing and stirred
in her a desire for creative, passionate worship. She has also been involved at the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship as a worship leader and teacher in their women's ministries and School of Worship. One of her favorite classes is taught by her alter ego, Craisy Daisy the Clown, and is entitled Everything I Needed to Know About Worship I Learned in Kindergarten. This class explores the interrelationship of worship, play, and childlikeness. |

Clown |
| Jill's creativity bounds beyond the church walls, as she has also worked as a professional clown, named "Craisy Daisy". Through her company, Creative Play Adventures, Craisy Daisy has clowned at parties and corporate events, and has taught at local schools, day camps, and community centres. In her clown persona, she has taught clown training courses to elementary schoolchildren and music to preschoolers. In addition, Jill herself has taught music to new mothers and their babies. |

| Wife & Mother |
| Jill is now married to Kirk Weber - her drummer, manager, producer, and best buddy. Their daughter, Hannah, at her young age already feels called to become an artist, musician, doctor, missionary, and ballerina (all at the same time!). |

| Songwriter |
|
Jill started songwriting as a teenager. Interestingly enough, her first song, entitled I'm All Alone expressed her heart longing for a connection with a Power and a Love greater than herself, and was written just weeks before she met Jesus. Recent years have matured and deepened her craft. Jill writes biblical songs sparked by her own experience and heart longings. These elements translate into a passionate, intimate, lyrical, and honest body of work. "I've discovered that writing songs is like finding something on the Net and saving it to file. My best songs were transcribed in twenty minutes or less (no kidding!), and I knew they were, very simply, a gift." ~ Jill |

| GOHOP (or 24/7) |
|
Since January of 2002, Jill has served the Greater Ontario House of Prayer (GOHOP) as it's Director. GOHOP is a regional, interdenominational "intercessory worship" ministry. At their facility at the Crossroads Centre, Jill and her team of volunteers and intercessory missionaries (we like to call them "musicianaries") are training the local Body of Christ in worship and prayer, and gathering them together to pray for the region and the nation. The goal is that there will be worship and prayer rising up from GOHOP 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. If you are interested in being involved as a musician or intercessor, email Jill at jill@jillweber.com. |
