My Story
In 2001, I helped begin the Greater Ontario House of Prayer, a 24-7 New Monastic Community in Canada, and served as it’s “Abbess” for 17 years. Today, GOHOP’s team of urban missionaries continue to explore the ancient monastic practices of prayer, mission, justice, hospitality, learning and creativity through the cultivation of intentional communities, leadership development and missional partnerships.
In 2018, my husband Kirk and I were invited to relocate to the UK. I served on the International Leadership Team of 24-7 Prayer and for 6 years was Director of Spiritual Formation at Emmaus Road Church in Guildford, UK. For 8 years I also served as the Global Convenor of the Order of the Mustard Seed, an international lay, ecumenical religious order. I’m a contributor to the Lectio 365 Daily Devotional app
In 2020, Kirk and I moved to Waverley Abbey, where we helped establish a 24-7 Prayer new monastic expression called the Waverley Abbey Community.
Today…
I still serve with 24-7 Prayer, Lectio 365 and am on the Waverley Abbey team. Additionally, I am am author, spiritual director, and educator.
